This page will continue to be updated with new information about the church weekend, as it becomes available.

Important Information

Because so many people booked early for the weekend, there are no single en-suite or double en-suite rooms left. There are still some single and double rooms available with bathroom facilities close by.

An invitation from Graham

A weekend away can be a great leap forward for a church. People often find they rub up alongside others they hardly knew before - and make new friendships.

The earliest Christians got together daily - and thrived. In Heaven, we'll be together with other Christians all the time - lapping up the very best that God has ready for us

Let's enjoy a weekend away together for all age groups here on Earth - in fact, not very far from Nottingham!

I very much hope that you will come. But do book up quickly - space is limited!!

God bless

Graham Hadfield

Some questions you may be asking

Where is it? - About 17 miles away or half an hour by car. We can arrange lifts for you if you don't drive.

Who can go? - Hopefully everyone who comes to church will want to come. the programme will have something for everyone. There is plenty of flexibility to join in (or not!) in any activity.

What is the theme? - The theme will be based on Paul's Letter to the Ephesians which is full of joy and supportive advice. So we hope to embrace the idea of "Belonging, believing and behaving". We will have some really good

  • Teaching
  • Fellowship
  • Sharing at a deeper level
  • Time to deepen friendships with each other and with God.

How much will it cost? - Between £90 and £130 for the weekend, including all food and refreshments. We are hoping to offer an optional subsidy of £20 per person. We will also have to cover the costs of our guests (speakers and helpers). Graham is managing a hardship fund.
